   I'd like to upgrade a site which makes use of the free version of WP Smart Sort to Wordpress 2.8.4 but have tested it on a development site and although it installs and I can change preferences (the site sorts on a custom field) the posts - which display via categories selected from the nav bar - aren't being sorted.

   Is there anything I can do to fix this, or do we need to wait for a new version.

   I'd be happy to pay for WP Smart Sort Premium if I knew it would work with 2.8.4

   Incidentally I'm not using - and don't want to use - the widget: just need posts to sort when the relevant category is selected from the nav bar.

   Would be very grateful for any help with this.

   I don't know whether anyone is monitoring this forum, but I'd be very grateful for a response to the above.
   As I mentioned I'm very happy to pay for the premium version if it works with the latest version of Wordpress - if it doesn't, I think everyone needs to know.

   Hi sijambo,

   The new premium version 2.2 beta is now out and is compatible with 2.8.4.

   I'll be looking into the free version in the next few weeks to get it up to speed with the latest wordpress version.
