   Any estimate when you might add support for Wordpress 2.8? I can't find ANY other plugin that does this. I'd even be willing to buy the premium version if you update that one first (although for me, simpler is better).

   I tried to contact the owner of this plugin via email/helpdesk but I had no answer.

   WP Smart Sort Premium is a very important plugin for my website but I'd like to upgrade to WP 2.8 as soon as possible.

   it does work on my wp 2.8 but only with the widget, not the template code

   doesn't work in 2.8 - causes 404 pages to break - how does this work only with the widget?

   i'm not using it on the sidebar, will the sidebar widget still work?

   hope we can solve this!

   Think that this is a very great plugin!!! I have Wordpress 2.8 installed and it works very fine! I simply placed this code outside the Loop in my home page:
   '<?php if (class_exists('WP_Smart_Sort')) {
   $wpss = new WP_Smart_Sort();
   if (method_exists($wpss,'placesort')) {
   $wpss->placesort();
   }
   } ?>'

   Forgot to say that in Wordpress 2.8 works also with the widget in the sidebar, I'm not an expert but maybe there's something else that doesen't work in your site...Hope you solve

   Hi all,

   Sorry for slow support with the free plugin but have been working on another great plugin for wordpress, soon to be released. There will be a new version released in the next 2 weeks that should sort out these 2.8 related bugs.

    How I know if the paid version alters the order of posts? . I think is the only one problem for this plugin...
